aFrite is an Arabic word used by mothers when children are troublemakers or little devils. Owner Andrew Al-Khouri’s mother perfected the term while he was growing up. To pay homage to her amazing culinary tradition, aFrite was named in her honor and opened in late 2017. At aFrite, we believe in a culture of dining and sharing. Our goal is to simply make our guests happy while showcasing modern mediterrean fusion based on Andrew’s mother’s traditional Syrian cooking style. Our modo is “Here We Dine Together” and we hope you will join us for dinner.

Our shabby sheik dining room has been designed to compliment our upscale yet casual fare and make you feel comfortable. Decorated with icons that represent who we are as well as our cooking journey can be found plastered to the walls. If you’re lucky, you may even see a pickle aquarium!
